2:1 Conference Event Organizer
I heard Ashley speak for the first time at the 2:1 Conference in Chicago. It was a blessing to hear someone speak from the receiving end of homeschooling. Ashley was real, warm, engaging and had some very valuable things to say. I passed several of these points on afterward to encourage other moms, through conversation and in my blog. One of the things that made her points so valuable is that they were clear and concise and any mom could relate to them.

After attending several workshops filled with the usual checklists I felt overwhelmed and uninspired to teach high school. Ashley focused her energy on the "why". Her words
refocused me on my why for homeschooling. Priorities and long term goals came into focus as Ashley spoke. My classroom will be a relationship filled thought provoking exploration of subjects this year.
